Children Are Not Your Lovers

This is my first stamp from my "...IS NOT LOVE" series that I will be doing.

Pedophilia is a mental illness where older adults (mostly men, but can also be women) are attracted to prepubescent children who are under the age of consent. The age of consent is anything between 16 or older, depending on the country you live in. By most jurisprudence around the world, pedophilia is considered an act of child sexual abuse and statutory rape (a romantic/sexual relationship with a minor). There are some people out there who do have a fetish for young children, but that doesn't mean it's okay to be in a relationship beyond friendship with a child. I don't believe in kissing a child on the cheek or lips unless you are a parent of that child. If you are not in any family relation with the child themselves, get your lips off of them. Simple. 

I have came across a pedophile when I was younger, still living with my parents, who made me strip directly in front of him on camera. He was a middle-aged man, while I was only a young girl. I didn't feel any excitement from doing that, I felt scared, vulnerable, and helpless. I didn't feel aroused, I didn't want to orgasm, nor was I in love with him. Love involves happiness and affection between a group of people, not fear and vulnerability. Most children feel scared when they come across a pedophile and they don't know what to do. I felt the same way. This is why pedophilia is NOT love. It involves kissing and sex, but that doesn't make it love. It's nasty, sick, and disgusting. For any adult who engages in a romantic or a sexual relationship with a minor should be imprisoned for life.
